Description

About the Role:

As a Lead Data Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex ETL mappings, workflows, and UNIX shell scripts in a Data Warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with data integration tools like Informatica.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a centralized Data Warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and analyze current technology, data, and processes.
Design and implement data models using ER Studio – Dimensional Modeling, Canonical Modeling.
Work closely with IT lead to ensure that all deliverables meet expectations and are aligned with organizational goals.
Analyze complex problems, quickly grasp concepts related to industry-specific design/development, and articulate them concisely to foster project team collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of hands-on experience using Informatica, DB2, SQL Server, and Unix.
5+ years of data integration experience in a lead role, preferably in the financial services industry.
Experience working in Waterfall/Agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
