Are you an energetic person ready to work with Amazon's latest technology stack, services/tools and improve the end user experience through effective test management and process improvements?Amazon's Books org is looking for a dynamic and talented Operations Manager for managing Device Associate(DA) testing teams

    Core Responsibilities:


    Would manage Device Associates (DA), Senior Device Associate (SDA), Subject Matter Experts (SME) and will report to the Ops Manager.

    A Ops manager should have ability to mentor/coach DA's/SMEs and ensure test case execution process is managed well. Will be the point of contact for the DAs, SMEs and QAEs for clarification queries/project execution/work allocation.

    A Ops manager will also be required to look at optimizations in the processes followed and bring about improvement in quality / productivity.

    In addition to managing process improvements and work allocation, and will also manage daily floor operations, create reports, review operator / DA performance on regular intervals and also ensure productivity & quality deliverables are met.

    Ops manager will also be responsible for performance management of all the DA's & Auditor's reporting in to him/her.

    About the teamThe Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team enables independent authors, content creators and publishers to publish their content as eBooks for distribution to the Kindle Store, Kindle Unlimited and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library; as well as in print formats for sale on Amazon's global marketplaces, bookstores and other online retailers using Amazon's state-of-the-art Print on Demand (POD) technology.

    KIX is an important part of Amazon's vision to provide its Kindle and print book customers with the world's largest selection in the format they prefer – eBook, paperback and Hardcover.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of team management experience Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and use of Word, Excel, IE, Firefox etc. Experience using data to influence business decisions Experience an operations, project or program Manager directly managing and developing frontline managers

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in quality assurance/testing/mobile industry/internet of things (IoT)
    • Experience managing project delivery
