About the Job

We are looking for a hybrid DevOps & QA Automation Engineer to own the integrity, scalability, and reliability of both our infrastructure and our automated testing framework. You will ensure that our deployments are fast, secure, and compliant, and that our financial applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to bring significant hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging its full suite of services to build and maintain a secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure for our financial products.

Core Responsibilities

DevOps Responsibilities:

• Manage and scale Kubernetes environments on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Architect and maintain GCP-native infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and GCP-specific modules
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, integrating seamlessly with GCP services
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging via Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and GCP Logging
• Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, GCP Secret Manager, firewall configurations, and TLS/mTLS
• Design and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies using Velero and GCP-native snapshot tools
• Manage GCP DNS, ingress via NGINX, and certificate lifecycle using cert-manager on GCP

QA Automation Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct REST API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
• Perform regression testing and participate in code/test plan reviews
• Track and log defects; support resolution with developers
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in testing

You Will Be a Good Fit If You:

• Have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, QA, or both, ideally within fintech or banking
• Are proficient in CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
• Have experience in Java and scripting (Bash, Python, Go)
• Have a strong grasp of Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, and secure infrastructure design
• Have worked in regulated environments and understand compliance and data security
• Have deep expertise in GCP services, architecture, and security best practices
• Have managed production workloads using GKE, Cloud Logging, GCP Secret Manager, IAM, and other GCP tools
• Are confident working in a GCP-first DevOps environment, optimizing both cost and performance across its service offerings
