Senior Perception Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Perception Engineer to contribute to the development of perception algorithms for robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing perception algorithms, with a focus on sensor fusion, SLAM, and multi-modal sensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement perception algorithms for autonomous systems using C++ and Python programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate perception algorithms with other system components.
• Develop and maintain SLAM algorithms, computer vision, and sensor fusion techniques.
• Work with LiDAR, camera, radar, and IMU sensors to develop accurate perception models.
• Implement real-time systems and embedded software development for perception tasks.
• Apply mathematical background in linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization to perception engineering.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3-8 years of experience in perception engineering for autonomous systems.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Extensive experience with SLAM algorithms, computer vision, and sensor fusion techniques.
• Proficiency in working with LiDAR, camera, radar, and IMU sensors.
• Hands-on experience with ROS2.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and their application to perception tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with autonomous vehicle perception systems.
• Knowledge of sensor calibration techniques.
• Experience with multi-object tracking and motion prediction.
• Experience with Autoware.
