Job Overview

DCS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Head to join our team. As the Plant Maintenance Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our plant machinery and equipment. This is a senior-level position, requiring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance. The role is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Proven experience of 7 to 10 years in plant maintenance, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical maintenance
• Excellent budgeting and resource management skills
• Ability to supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians
• Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
• Proficient in scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of testing procedures and equipment
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plant maintenance policies and procedures
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance downtime and minimize production disruptions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the maintenance team
• Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance measures
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex maintenance issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of spare parts and equipment
