This is a full-time remote position for a Freight Broker (Logistics Coordinator).
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of freight transportation, building relationships with carriers and clients, negotiating freight rates, scheduling shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Additional responsibilities include tracking shipments, resolving any issues in transit, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional support to customers.Collaboration with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth communication and logistics efficiency is an integral part of the role.
QualificationsStrong knowledge of logistics coordination, freight brokerage, and supply chain management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics technologies
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, and perform in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Familiarity with market trends and regulations within the freight and logistics industry
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience as a Freight Broker or Logistics Coordinator is an advantage
