Senior QA Engineer ( Manual)
to join our dynamic team.
As a Senior Manual Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous manual testing processes.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in identifying defects, verifying fixes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, timelines, and success criteria.
Manual Testing Execution:
Execute manual test cases to verify software functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility across various platforms and environments. Utilize your analytical skills to identify, isolate, and document software defects accurately.
Test Documentation:
Create detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports. Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented and accessible to relevant team members.
Defect Management:
Effectively manage the defect lifecycle by accurately reporting issues, prioritizing defects based on severity and impact, and verifying fixes through rigorous retesting.
Collaboration :
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to drive continuous improvement in software quality and reliability.
Process Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of manual testing activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Manual Test Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years in software testing.
In-depth knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, HP ALM).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) are a plus.
