    Roles & Responsibilities:


    If you have a keen eye for design and always have your finger on the pulse of industry trends, then we want to hear from you. Our firm is interested in hiring an associate level interior designer. Your role is to
    • Collaborate and assist the senior designer in crafting residential interior designs.
    • Participate in client meetings for design presentations alongside the senior designer.
    • Document detailed minutes of client meetings to ensure clear communication.
    • Curate design mood boards for effective and visually appealing presentations.
    • Generate single line drawings of design concepts for communication with the 3D visualization team.
    • Provide comprehensive specifications detailing the brand, make, and model of all elements incorporated in the design projects.
    • Develop comprehensive drawings for wooden joinery, electrical, and lighting design, as well as plumbing.
    • Coordinate with various project stakeholders to ensure the design aligns with company standards and regulations.
    • Adhere to and uphold the established design and technical standards of Aertsen Living.
    • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay informed about any updates or changes to design and technical standards.
    • Take responsibility for the accuracy and precision of all design documentation and drawings.
    • Embrace a proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential design standard challenges.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in design execution and uphold the reputation of Aertsen Living in the industry.


    Requirements


    Must haves to apply:
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Interior Design (B.Des).
    • Demonstrate a minimum of two years of professional experience in Residential Interior Design.
    • Possess a profound understanding of interior design principles, residential design standards, and ergonomic design.
    • Showcase in-depth knowledge of various materials used in design execution, along with the ability to weigh their pros and cons for a seamless living experience.
    • Exhibit a discerning eye for differentiating between good and bad design, considering both functional and aesthetic aspects.
    • Ability to assess and approve 3D designs in alignment with on-site design proposals.
    • Proficient in creating precise technical drawings.
    • Proficient in CAD software applications.
