    Roles and responsibilities:


    Sales and Business Development:


    • Utilize market research, industry analysis, and networking to identify and target potential customers effectively.
    • Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to drive sales growth.
    • Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with customers, consistently surpassing sales targets.
    P&L Leadership:


    • Spearhead Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for the specialty chemical business in India and emerging markets.
    • Establish, monitor, and refine the sales funnel to optimize revenue generation and profitability.
    Coordination and Alignment:


    • Act as a central liaison between different business sectors, ensuring seamless information exchange and strategic alignment.
    Performance Analysis and Data-Driven Decisions:


    • Conduct thorough analysis of key performance metrics to gauge divisional progress and efficacy.
    • Employ datadriven insights to enhance decisionmaking and improve overall performance.
    Market Awareness and Strategy:


    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform and refine business development 8 years of experience in business development preferably in a B2B setup.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing teams and developing as well as executing sales strategies.
    • Strong knowledge of the agrochemical sector, including market trends, products, and regulations.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a resultsoriented mindset.
