    Job Overview:

    As a SOC Analyst for a Managed Service Provider (MSP), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and quality of services provided to our clients. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing security and service quality, detecting and responding to security incidents, and ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. You will collaborate with various teams to maintain the highest standards of security and quality for our clients.

    Responsibilities

    Security Operations:

    • Ø Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents from various sources.
    • Ø Perform initial analysis and triage of security alerts and incidents.
    • Ø Investigate and respond to security incidents, applying incident response procedures.
    • Ø Utilize security information and event management (SIEM) tools to identify potential threats.
    • Ø Collaborate with the SOC team to continuously improve the security posture of clients.

    Quality Control:

    • Ø Conduct regular quality control checks on services delivered to clients to ensure compliance with SLAs and standards.
    • Ø Develop and implement quality control procedures and workflows.
    • Ø Identify areas for service quality improvement and work with relevant teams to address issues.
    • Ø Create and maintain reports on service quality metrics and trends.
    • Ø Assist in implementing corrective actions and improvements as needed.
    • Ø Ensure that all security and quality control activities are compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.
    • Ø Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, response activities, and quality control processes.
    • Ø Work closely with other SOC team members, IT teams, and MSP teams to resolve security and service quality issues.
    • Ø Communicate effectively with clients regarding security incidents and service quality improvements.
    • Ø Participate in meetings and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
    • Ø Training and Development:
    • Ø Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
    • Ø Participate in training and skill development activities to enhance your expertise.
    • Ø Share knowledge with team members and provide guidance on security and quality control best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Ø Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security).
    • Ø Previous experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) and quality control roles is preferred.
    • Ø Proficiency in using SIEM and security tools.
    • Ø Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices.
    • Ø Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ø Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
