    About the Role :


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GE Proficy Suite expert to join our team In this role, you'll play a vital role in leading all aspects of GE Proficy MES application implementations, from installation and migration to upgrades and end-to-end validation.

    You'll collaborate closely with customers, technical leads, and the project team to ensure successful project delivery.


    Responsibilities :

    • Lead and manage GE Proficy Suite (IGS OPC, Proficy Historian, Proficy Plant Applications) installations, migrations, upgrades, and endtoend validations.
    • Possess a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their role in optimizing production processes.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data management and integration.
    • Configure and manage OPC interfaces, including GE IGS OPC Servers and experience with other OPC tools like PTC's Kepware (a plus).
    • Interface Proficy Plant Applications with ERP systems and various L2 systems using standard industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the GE Proficy Suite.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of the MES system.
    • Lead discussions and coordinate with customers on technical, functional, and operational aspects of the project.
    • Collaborate effectively with technical leads and the project team to meet project deadlines and objectives.
    • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamplaying skills.
    • Be a selfmotivated and resultsoriented individual with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

    Desired Skills and Experience :

    • 5+ years of experience working with GE Proficy Suite (IGS OPC, Proficy Historian, Proficy Plant Applications).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration.
    • Experience with OPC interfaces and configuration, including PTC's Kepware (a plus).
    • Solid understanding of MES systems and their functionalities.
    • Experience integrating MES systems with ERP systems and L2 systems using industrial protocols.
    • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamplaying abilities.
    • Leadership qualities and the ability to manage projects effectively.
    • Experience with .NET programming (a plus).
    • Experience with endtoend MES system testing (a plus).
