    Description

    We are proposing an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team based in our India office, in the context of the set-up of our new entity in Hyderabad.

    Reporting to the CHRO (in France), the HRBP will play a key role in aligning our human resources strategy with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring our workplace is conducive to productivity and employee well-being. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational HR & payroll expertise, as well as office/facilities management capabilities (Workforce: 50)

    Key Responsibilities:

    Talent Acquisition & Personnel Administration:

    • Coordinate talent acquisition activities in India.
    • Manage all aspects of personnel administration including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, employee records management, and exit processes.
    • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations in India.
    • Coordinate with the global HR team to implement and maintain HR policies and procedures.
    • Provide reporting and analysis to the CHRO.

    Payroll & Benefits:

    • Oversee the externalised payroll function (ADP) for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
    • Liaise with external payroll and benefits providers and internal finance teams to resolve any payroll-related issues.
    • Manage the local Benefits programs, on-call and overtime organisation, overseeing employee eligibility and related payments, performing close follow-up and regular reporting.
    • Conduct regular audits of payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

    HR Policies and Processes:

    • Perform analyses and research to inform decisions on HR policies and processes in the zone.
    • Work closely with the CHRO to develop and implement HR policies and processes for the target zone.
    • Actively participate in the rollout and application of such policies and processes.
    • Provide analysis and advice on HR matters in India to the leadership team.

    Office & Facilities Management:

    • Oversee office space allocation, maintenance, and renovations.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • In partnership with IT teams, oversee coordination of the provision and management of work tools (e.g. computers, telephones).
    • In partnership with local Finance team, oversee vendor contracts and relationships for services including cleaning, security, and catering; Manage office budgets, including forecasting and expense tracking.

    Employee Relations and Engagement:

    • Serve as the main point of contact for local managers on all HR topics.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations topics in India.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention initiatives, while performing effective internal communication.
    • Conduct regular meetings with employees and management to address concerns and gather feedback.
    • Plan and oversee office events and activities that promote a positive work culture and employee engagement, such as cultural celebrations, team-building exercises, and social responsibility initiatives.

    Performance Management:

    • Oversee the performance appraisal process locally and ensure its effectiveness in aligning employee performance with company goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management.

    Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs.

    Profile:

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience as HR Business Partner, preferably including the set-up of a new business entity of an international company (accustomed to reporting to 'Corporate' structure).
    • Very good knowledge of India employment legislation and confirmed operational experience in payroll and benefits management, especially through ADP payroll solution.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
