Profile: Design Engineer/Product Design Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 2-5yrs

Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech / BE / ME

Job Description:

1. Good working knowledge of Automotive Part Design. Like Sheet metal (Cold & Hot rolled ), Casting and Forging parts.

2. Good working knowledge in Catia v5 (Surface modeling & Part modeling & Drawing).

3. Should be able to study regulation requirement ,tooling feasibility, spot weld plan, weld feasibility study, Paint and sealant study.

4. Able to understand and create Master section , 2D production and Installation drawings, Gap and Flush understanding.

5. Conduct GD&T & Tolerance stack up analysis.

6. Ability to interpret CAE results and integrate recommendations into product designs.

Desirable skills:

1. Knowledge about ECE Regulations.

2. Work experience in OEM Business Applications and PLM Systems.

3. Involvement in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.

4. Good Documentation skills and Communication skills to Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams.

5. Knowledge in Japanese Language is added advantage.
