- Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards in Australia (special purpose financial statements)
- Attend to the preparation of the fixed asset register
- Working knowledge of division 7a
- Prepares clear and concise work papers
- Manage ad hoc project work.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly activity statements.
- FBT – preparation of employee contributions based on motor vehicle benefits
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ideally have bookkeeping experience and Xero certified
- Must have experience in Xero and XPM (Xero Tax).
- Have 5+ year of experience working on Australian financial statements and income tax returns
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and organizing work to meet deadlines
- 3-5 years hands on experience on Xero XPM and Australian taxation.
- CPA / CA+ CPA preferred
- Must have excellent English communication – Written and verbal (Preferably with Australian Accent)
- Must have at least 5 years of Australian Accounting experience
