JobResponsibilities

• Designexecute and independently run biochemical and biologyexperiments
• Critically analyze interpret andpresent data to the team
• Collaborate withsenior researchers) to develop optimize validate and automatebiochemical and cellular assays to characterize small moleculesinhibitors for hitfinding hittolead and leadoptimization
• Communicate ideas and results to internal and externalparties in verbal written and presentation formats
• Establish cellular models of disease and execute assaysto evaluate drug activity and mechanism of action

KeyQualifications

• PhD inbiology or related fields with an emphasis on biochemistry cellbiology and molecular biology
• Demonstratedexperience with biochemical and cell culture assays developmentvalidation and miniaturisation for primary screen utilisingdifferent technologies (ex: SPA HTRF Alpha screen Nano BRET LANCEetc.)
• Laboratory techniques such as ELISAwestern blots immunofluorescence qPCR and gene expression
• To perform enzymatic assays and MOA studies(mechanism of action) for lead compounds
• Understanding of Enzymology including enzyme kinetics.
• Strong ability to analyze and communicate complex datain a clear and concise manner
• Team playerwith excellent interpersonal skills and attention todetail
