    About the Investors

    W Health Ventures is a Boston-based, healthcare-focused VC fund started in 2020 with the goal of investing in healthcare delivery innovation leveraging technology and AI in the US and India. Till date, we have made eight selective investments that are now improving the lives of 20 million patients globally.

    About the Founder

    Vishnu Dutt Sharma, the founder is a topper from IIM Bangalore and BIT Mesra, who has a solid track record of excellence and innovation. With a long career that spans leading roles at blue-chip companies like Texas Instruments and Boston Consulting Group, he has a proven history of driving growth and pioneering implementation of AI / ML technologies at Myntra to redefine fast fashion e-commerce.

    As a serial entrepreneur with a successful exit and as former CEO of VMC and former Global Business Head / CBO of Whitehat Jr, he has successfully scaled and led businesses across India, Australia, UK, Latin America and US/Canada, generating revenue of US$100+ Million .     Key Result Area – DevOps Engineer

    Design and Build

    • Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
    • DevOps estimations, assessments and solutioning is desired.
    • Network Monitoring, Server maintenance.
    • Issue analysis in case of Infra (Linux & Windows)○
    • Log extraction (Automation)

    Release / Delivery Quality

    • Deploy Builds on Production servers (using Jenkins or Manual if needed).
    • Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance and operability in mind.
    • Release / Migration plan and execution without any downtime.

    Technical Advancement

    • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
    • Explore newer tech areas / solutions available for integration

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field
    • 3 years+ of experience in Devops.
    • 3 years+ of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

    Critical Skills for This Role

    1) Programming & Problem Solving

    • Strong in Data Structures and Algorithms
    • Good Problem-Solving skills.
    • Should have fundamentals of REST, Service based architecture,
    • Good Databases skills (MySql) - for Configuring/Optimizing the MySql Instances

    2) Technical Exposure

    • Experience building and managing CI / CD workflows and complex system integrations
    • Strong architectural background in Private / Hybrid Cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services , MS Azure , Google Cloud Platform etc
    • Experience in writing automation using Shell , Perl , Python , PowerShell , Ruby
    • Should be able to include NFRs (like performance, scaling, access controls, security etc) in implementation
    • Skills in Linux System Administration, Jenkins, Docker, GIT, Bash Scripting, AWS, Build Devops, Windows Server, Java Web Services, MySQL, Python, Kubernetes, Nagios, New Relic
