- Margin Management
- Develop and implement the full product lifecycle management through a healthy product portfolio which meets the market and customer requirements
- Improve our vitality index of portfolio through new product introductions
- Reduce product cost, lead times and cost to serve by implement product transfers where possible
- Phaseout and withdraw products at the end of the product lifecycle to maintain a healthy portfolio
- Drive profitability through cost management of price competitiveness, cost visibility and expand group profit
- Quality Management
- Define product specifications to ensure its quality meets our customers requirements and will impact the market dynamics
- Ensure products are compliant with relevant MRSL schemes and legislations
- Operations
- Leads makeorbuy decision process (e.g. produce or toll) in order to maximize production plants utilization at optimal product costs as well as control of intellectual property
- Global Process Owner
- Leads the raw material strategic preordering process & define actions to deplete slow moving inventory to ensure avoidance of supply and price risk and reduction of working but the improvement of cash flow.
- Bachelor in Textiles or Chemistry related qualifications
- Minimum 510 years experience in a chemical or textile related field. Prior experience in product management will be an advantage.
- Strives to excel, constantly seeking ways to do things better, sets challenging goals and takes calculated risks
- Able to cope with change and uncertainty. Willing to adapt own ideas or approaches based on new information or changing needs. Ability to manage multiple demands
