    Description

    Senior Accounts Receivable Manager

    At Ortolan, we are seeking an agile and strategic accounts receivable professional to lead our dynamic AR team based in India.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts receivable management, with a proven track record of leadership, process optimisation, and driving financial performance.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the accounts receivable team.
    • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize credit risk and bad debt exposure.
    • Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of billing.
    • Manage the collections process to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
    • Generate regular reports and analysis on accounts receivable performance, aging, and cash flow forecasting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or CPA qualification is desirable.
    • Relevant leadership experience in accounts receivable operations management with a focus on strategic financial management.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to inspire and motivate others.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures, credit management and collections best practices.
    • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
