Desired Competencies

Must-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

1. Advanced experience in ASP.NET (VB.NET) full stack development using Microsoft Visual Studio
2. Solid understanding of PL/SQL or Oracle Database – DB Objects, Procedures, Functions, Packages
3. Good verbal and written communications skills
4. A mindset focused on solutions and customer service

Good-to-Have

1. Working experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems, preferably in metals industry viz. Iron, Steel, etc.
2. Experience in development and implementation of IT Systems in the manufacturing Industry and their integration with external applications, e.g. ERP, Control Systems, etc.

Responsibility

1. Overall responsibility for application enhancement and change request
2. Troubleshooting of Production/Non-Production issues in applications by analyzing frontend/backend codes, including other associated services and system interfaces
3. Provide L2 application maintenance support to existing TSL operations. Also, provide IT services to cater user requirement for enhancement of system functionality
4. Technical support for .NET codes and PL/SQL and/or Oracle database as and when needed
5. Liaison with user to understand customer expectations, communicate effectively with the business and technical teams for IT system development and maintenance support
6. Ability to learn domain skills as expected in steel manufacturing industry
