    Overview

    As aMicrobiologist at our organization you will play a crucial role inconducting research and experiments to study microorganisms andtheir impact on various environments.     KeyResponsibilities

    • Performingmicrobiological testing and analysis on a variety ofsamples
    • Developing and validatingmicrobiological methods and assays
    • Implementingquality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision in allanalyses
    • Operating and maintaining laboratoryequipment and instruments
    • Collaborating withcrossfunctional teams to support product development andmanufacturing processes
    • Assessing andinterpreting data to generate accurate and reliableresults
    • Preparing reports and documentation forinternal and regulatory purposes
    • Conductingenvironmental monitoring and identification ofmicroorganisms
    • Participating in root causeanalysis and problemsolvingactivities
    • Contributing to continuousimprovement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency andeffectiveness
    • Adhering to safety protocols andpromoting a culture of compliance within thelaboratory
    • Staying updated with industry trendsand developments through continuous learning and professionaldevelopment
    • Ensuring adherence to relevantregulatory standards and bestpractices
    • Training and mentoring junior staffin microbiological techniques andprocedures

    RequiredQualifications

    • Bachelors degree inMicrobiology Biology or related field; Masters degreepreferred
    • Proven experience in a microbiologylaboratory setting preferably in a regulatedindustry
    • Strong knowledge of microbiologicaltechniques including microbial culturing andidentification
    • Experience in assay developmentand validation using microbiologicalmethodologies
    • Proficiency in data analysis andinterpretation with a high level of attention todetail
    • Familiarity with quality controlprinciples and practices inmicrobiology
    • Ability to operate andtroubleshoot laboratory equipment andinstruments
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills for effective reporting anddocumentation
    • Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in a team environment
    • Strongorganizational skills and ability to manage multiple taskseffectively
    • Knowledge of regulatoryrequirements in the microbiology field such as USP EP and FDAguidelines
    • Commitment to upholding high ethicaland professional standards in all workactivities
    • Ability to adapt to changingpriorities and deadlines in a fastpaced laboratoryenvironment
    • Proficiency in relevant computerapplications and software for data analysis andreporting
    • Continuous commitment to learning andstaying updated with advancements in the field ofmicrobiology
