- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commodity or service sourcing and management or purchasing and commercial management with a total experience of more than 6 years
- Experience in working with suppliers in the Learning industry will be considered a strong plus.
- Experience with sourcing in international markets and supplier quality assessment.
- Commercial Negotiation skills
- Demonstrated success in developing and fostering relationships with suppliers while driving lower costs, superior performance and continuous improvement.
- Experience in monitoring and managing work queues.

Managing team of sourcing specialists
• Understanding the training requirement from customers across the globe and sourcing the best training supplier in the market
• Manage good working relationship with the training suppliers
• Obtaining quotes from different suppliers and creating standard bid summary by assessing the quotes
• Negotiate on the proposals from training suppliers to provide customers with the most competitive pricing in the market
• Develop and deliver cost savings through implementing optimum sourcing strategies
• Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation
• Coordinate multiple tasks and detailed activities in a time-intensive work environment
• Correspond with customer and training partners for all training delivery related communications like dates and venue finalizing, registering the learner to training etc
• Use a data driven approach to rationalize supplier base
• Maintain data integrity among different systems internally
• Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving for customers
• Follow best practice processes, and suggest Lean opportunities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
