    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining automation projects for both web and mobile applications.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with proven experience in automating complex web and mobile platforms.

    A key aspect of this role is the ability to research new technologies/methods and solve complex problems to enhance our automation practices and efficiency.

    We offer flexibility in choosing the automation tech stack, and candidates are encouraged to bring their expertise in tools beyond Selenium and Appium.


    What We Want:


    Experience:
    Minimum of three years of experience in automation engineering.

    Expertise in Automation Tools:


    Proficient with a variety of automation tools; while experience with Selenium and Appium is valuable, we are open to other technologies that may be more effective.


    Mobile Automation Proficiency:
    Experience with mobile automation tools is highly desirable, with flexibility to select the most suitable tools.

    Research and Problem-Solving Skills:
    Strong ability to conduct research to stay ahead of new technologies and solve complex automation challenges.

    Programming Skills:
    Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or C#, and understanding of OOP principles.

    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven

    Experience:
    At least 3 years of professional experience in automation engineering.

    Technical Skills:


    Proficiency in a range of automation tools and platforms; experience with Selenium and Appium is a plus but not mandatory.

    Familiarity with API testing tools and version control systems like Git.

    Communication Skills:
    Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts.

    Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize automation scripts and frameworks.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Automation Framework Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive coverage of web and mobile applications. Flexibility in tool selection to optimize outcomes.

    Script Creation and Maintenance:
    Write, update, and maintain automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

    Continuous Integration:
    Implement and manage continuous integration (CI) processes to integrate automation scripts into the software development lifecycle.

    Research and Implementation:
    Continuously research emerging trends in automation technology and apply best practices to improve automation strategies and processes.

    Issue Resolution:
    Identify, diagnose, and resolve automation issues, ensuring the reliability and stability of automation frameworks.

    Collaboration:


    Work closely with development and QA teams to align automation practices with overall development goals and ensure seamless integration of testing protocols.
