- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test strategies for API and Windows-based integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate API functionality, performance, and interoperability across different systems and platforms.
- Conduct thorough API testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Utilize debugging techniques and tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues in API and integration workflows, ensuring seamless data exchange and system compatibility.
- Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support in test automation, API testing best practices, and debugging methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to provide input on testing efforts, identify potential risks, and prioritize tasks for the team.
- Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, facilitating timely resolution and release decisions.
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing roles, with a focus on API testing and integration testing.
- Prior experience working in an integration team as a QA engineer, with exposure to integration technologies and workflows, is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured) and experience with API automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of debugging techniques and tools for API and integration workflows, including log analysis, network debugging, and troubleshooting APIs
- Hands-on experience with Windows-based systems and familiarity with Windows APIs and services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members in test automation and API testing best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including database querying and data validation.
