Role & responsibilities :
We are hiring a senior E-commerce & Online Sales professional to build, scale, and own the complete online business. The role requires strong control over revenue, conversion, margins, returns, and operations, with the ability to set up systems in a traditional manufacturing-led organization transitioning to digital.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end online revenue, including website and marketplace sales.
- Drive conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchases, and profitability.
- Manage marketplace operations (catalog, pricing, promotions, ratings, visibility).
- Optimize returns, cancellations, prepaid vs COD mix, and fulfilment performance.
- Strengthen website performance for sales, UX, and checkout efficiency.
- Reduce dependency on external/distributor-led online selling by building in-house e-commerce capability.
- Track and report core e-commerce KPIs: revenue, margins, CAC, returns, and ROI.
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and external partners for smooth execution
Preferred candidate profile :
- 812 years of experience in E-commerce / Online Sales (D2C, marketplaces, or hybrid).
- Proven track record of scaling online revenue with clear numbers.
- Strong understanding of unit economics, margins, and returns control.
- Hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable building systems from scratch.
- Experience working with traditional or manufacturing-led businesses preferred.
