Position:
Software Engineering Manager

Overview:
As the Engineering Manager for our E-commerce Platform, you will lead a team of skilled
engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and innovative solutions that
power our e-commerce platform. Your role will be pivotal in driving technical excellence,
fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products.
This position requires expertise in React Native, cloud platforms (Azure and GCP), scalable
systems architecture, MongoDB, and familiarity with data science concepts.

Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating their growth both

technically and professionally.

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the

engineering team.

Develop and execute the technical roadmap for the e-commerce platform, leveraging

React Native for mobile app development.

Architect scalable and reliable systems on cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP,

ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data-driven insights and

personalization features into the platform.

Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering

to deployment and maintenance.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute project deliverables

within established timelines and budgets.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies

to ensure successful delivery.

Establish and enforce quality assurance processes, including code reviews,

automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Implement monitoring and analytics solutions to track platform performance and user

engagement, utilizing data science techniques where applicable.

Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new features and

enhancements, maintaining a high level of product quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on e-commerce

platforms or similar web-based applications.

Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of

engineers effectively.

Strong technical skills in web development (React, , etc.), mobile app

development (React Native, Android), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP),
Databases (Mongo DB, SQL)

Familiarity with data science concepts and their application in e-commerce platforms

is a plus.

Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with cross-functional teams.

Prior experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is advantageous.
