Position Summary

• We're looking for a highly motivated, personable, experienced and curious individual to join our Global Privacy Team  
• Are you an experienced Privacy (Senior) Specialist with a passion for technology Join our Phenomenal team in India
• In this role, you will help further implement the internal privacy program within Phenom. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of AI, project management, data protection and privacy, information security, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Representing Phenom's Global Privacy for its operations in India and the APAC region, based in Hyderabad, India.
• First point of contact and primary responsibility for all privacy related matters in the APAC region. 
• Working with key internal and external stakeholders and business units on privacy matters, on a global scale. 
• Coordinating and supporting the Global Privacy. 
• Proactive research on global privacy regulations.
• Creating and coordinating vendor risk and privacy impact assessments.
• Working closely with the engineering teams, providing guidance on the technical aspects of personal data processing. Responsibilities include mapping out data flows and developing privacy enhancing technologies to ensure compliance and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience. 
• Strong understanding of privacy principles, experience with other risk & compliance topics is a plus. 
• Good understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations. 
• Ability to work and learn quickly in an interdisciplinary field, combining various business domains such as AI, technology and privacy. 
• Collaborative skills with ability to positively influence and motivate teams.
• Ability to think in an analytical and conceptual manner when required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision under a constant changing environment.
• CIPT, or any other CIPP certification, is a plus.
