Grade: Deputy General Manager (M4)

Location: Bangalore

Report to: Chief Digital and Product Officer

Introduction:

It's a fine morning; perfect for working on some world-changing ideas. First, you catch up with your product and tech teams, who are building a brand new D2C website and App for the millions of customers who use an Aquaguard water purifier. You then jump onto a discussion with the team who are building out a first-in-the-category IOT solution for Water purifiers that will help a customer track on their app a whole host of things including consumption, device health, water quality etc. After a leisurely lunch, you then hop onto a call with the product manager for service, brainstorming on the elements of building an all-new App for the strong service team. With every discussion and task, you evolve as a product designer at one of the most exciting private-equity led transformation journeys in the consumer industry today. You understand that complex technology, when simplified and made ubiquitous, finds its own ways to change the world.

Post the acquisition of EFL by Advent International, EFL is on an exciting digital transformation journey to digitize customer experience, service experience, and transform the way we do business with technology.

What you will do :

The Senior Product Designer role, is a critical role we are hiring for, that will guide and deliver the product and UI/UX thinking on all digital workstreams – D2C, IOT and Sales & Service Reinvention. You will be responsible for reinventing our customer experiences on our brand new App/Website, as well as building from scratch our field suite apps to enable our large field teams.

What you will need :

· 4-6 years in the Digital domain

· Experience in product design with a proven track record of shipping successful products

· Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite or similar

· Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

· Experience in conducting user research, usability testing and data analysis

· A strong capability to understand business and customer needs and deliver exceptional outcomes

· The ability to collaborate, receive and include ideas and also share them

· A self-starter who can thrive in the changing environment of a transformation journey.
