We Are Hiring – Sous Chef
Location: Kolad, Raigad District, Maharashtra
Property: juSTa Rudra Resort & Spa, Kolad
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced
Sous Chef
who will lead the Food Production team and ensure exceptional culinary standards at our resort.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the entire Food Production team in the absence of the Executive Chef
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Plan, organize, and execute menus (buffet, à la carte, banquet, and special events)
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines
• Monitor food cost, wastage control, and portion control
• Manage inventory, requisitions, and vendor coordination
• Conduct regular training sessions for kitchen associates
• Ensure proper kitchen discipline and teamwork
• Handle guest feedback related to food quality and take corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and kitchen SOPs
Qualification (Mandatory):
Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management is a must
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in hotel/resort kitchen operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of multi-cuisine (Indian, Continental, Tandoor preferred)
Good understanding of cost control and kitchen administration
