Must have skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud platforms
• Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and services
• Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles
• Nice to have skills :
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Cost Management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Certification in FinOps or relevant cloud certifications (e.g.

, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.

Requirements

Cost Monitoring and Analysis:
Regularly review Azure Cost Management reports and dashboards to monitor expenditures across all Azure services. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization.


Budget Management:
Set and manage budgets for different departments or projects within Azure Cost Management. Alert stakeholders when spending approaches or exceeds budgeted amounts.


Resource Tagging and Allocation:
Implement a comprehensive resource tagging strategy to allocate costs accurately to departments, projects, or environments. Ensure all resources are appropriately tagged for detailed billing insights.


Cost Optimization:
Utilize Azure Advisor recommendations to identify underutilized or idle resources for resizing or decommissioning. Optimize resource sizes, purchase reserved instances, or choose spot instances where applicable.


Billing and Chargeback Reports:
Generate detailed billing and chargeback reports for internal departments or projects. Ensure transparency in cloud spending and accountability for usage.

• Continue to work core-stack FinOps suggestions to improve operational efficiency.

Cost Forecasting:
Use historical data and current usage trends to forecast future cloud spending. Assist in financial planning and adjustments to cloud strategy based on forecasted costs.
