    Job Summary:

    The Finance & Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions of the company. This role requires a hands-on approach to financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. The Finance & Account Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with senior management.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.

    Financial Reporting:

    • monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP (or relevant accounting standards).

    Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow and liquidity needs to ensure the company's financial stability.

    • Coordinate with external tax advisors to prepare and submit tax returns.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the company.

    Financial Operations:

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.

    Audit and Compliance:

    • Coordinate annual audits with external auditors in compliance with India and UK auditing standards.
    • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any audit findings or recommendations.

    Financial Systems and Processes:

    • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Implement best practices in financial management and accounting.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to foster their professional growth and development.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Master's in accounting, Finance, CA, ACCA, ICWA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with progressive responsibility and leadership experience.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS and UK tax regulations.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
