Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Engineer specializing in backend systems to join our team. This individual contributor role requires a deep understanding of databases and backend architectures.

The position is in-person and based in either Chennai or Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable services.
• Architect and implement robust solutions for highperformance, highavailability systems.
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning, system scalability assessments, and code reviews.
• Manage deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production systems as an individual contributor.
• Make informed decisions by having productive debate with the right stakeholders, seeking diverse perspectives, balancing details with the big picture, and optimizing for the company
• Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements to the current state of projects potentially having broader business impact.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in backend systems.
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining systems at scale
• Proficient in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
• Strong at Design, analytical, and problemsolving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
• Able to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug serverside, multithreaded, and highly scalable applications.
• Experience in developing distributed systems, microservices, and eventdriven architecture solutioning and architecting in any public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
