Responsibilities:

Execute trades in equities and equity derivatives markets on behalf of clients or the firm, following established trading strategies and risk parameters.
Monitor market conditions, economic news, and company developments to identify trading opportunities and risks.
Analyze market trends, technical indicators, and trading patterns to inform trading decisions and optimize trade execution.
Manage trade orders, including order routing, order types, and execution algorithms, to achieve best execution and minimize market impact.
Maintain trading records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Communicate with clients, counterparties, and trading desks to facilitate trade execution and resolve trading-related issues.
Monitor and manage risk exposures, including market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk, implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed.
Stay updated on market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to inform trading strategies and decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an equity trader or proprietary trader, demonstrating a strong track record of trading success.
In-depth knowledge of equities markets, trading mechanics, and order execution strategies.
Familiarity with equity trading platforms, execution algorithms, and trading tools.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, capable of analyzing market data and trends.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to equity trading.
