Description

We have an excellent job opportunity withour esteemed client from cybersecurity line of business located inGurugram looking for a DevOpsEngineer.
Theincumbent will be responsible for developing deploying andmaintaining distributed microservicesbased SaaS applications forhybrid cloud environments. Will work closely with the developmentand operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuousdelivery of the softwareproducts.
KeyResponsibilities:

• Infrastructureas Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code usingtools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manageresources in hybrid cloudenvironments.
• Continuous Integration/ContinuousDeployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines toautomate the build testing and deployment of microservices andapplications.
• Containerization: Containerizeapplications using technologies like Docker and orchestrate themusing Kubernetes for scalability andresilience.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implementand manage monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identifyand address issues in productionenvironments.
• Security: Collaborate with thesecurity team to implement and maintain security best practicesincluding access control encryption and vulnerabilityassessments.
• Collaboration: Work closely withsoftware development teams to ensure smooth integration of newfeatures updates and releases intoproduction.
• Performance Optimization: Identifyand address performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure andapplications to ensure optimal systemperformance.
• Automation: Continuously look foropportunities to automate repetitive tasks and processes to improveefficiency and reduce manualintervention.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensuredata integrity and businesscontinuity.
• Documentation: Create and maintaindetailed documentation for infrastructure configurations processesandprocedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorsor Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or arelated software academics (with equivalentexperience).
• Proven experience as a DevOpsEngineer or similar role in a SaaS or cloudbasedenvironment.
• Strong knowledge of cloudplatforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloudarchitecture.
• Proficiency in scripting andautomation using tools like Shell Python orRuby.
• Experience with containerization andorchestration tools (e.g. DockerKubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure ascode (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
• Knowledgeof CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Jenkins GitLabCI/CD).
• Excellent problemsolving andcommunication skills.
• Strong collaboration andteamwork abilities.
• Certifications such as AWSCertified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator(CKA) are aplus.
