AboutHaqdarshak
Simply put we are bridging theinformation and access gap between citizens and social securityschemes (both government and private) using tech and a network offield agents known as Haqdarshaks (who are primarilywomen).
Our Haqdarshaks are extensively trainedin both government schemes and the onfieldimplementation ofprogrammes. They are also trained on how to liaise with governmentofficials and bank officials. For the services they provide theymake a commission which makes them financially independent. On oursocial media channels we have featured several stories of women whohave not only gained financial agency but also an identity afterworking with us.
We partner with corporates CSRdepartments philanthropies family offices and even governmentoffices to design and implement programs on the field. We have beenaround for almost 7 years. We are present in more than 24 states.We have unlocked benefits worth over INR 4000 crore for over 27lakh Indian citizens. We have multiple digital portals (includingtwo apps one for citizens and one for our agents) where we havestored information on government schemes in 11 vernacular languages(currently working on reskinning these apps).
We are also working on scaling our latestofferings Yojana Cards and Yojana Kendras. These are set to foreveralter how citizens access welfare services in India. We are anindependent organization and not affiliated with the government inany way.
