About the Role
Are you someone who loves the thrill of pitching an idea, building a connection, or closing a deal? ByteNex is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who is naturally persuasive, energetic, and passionate about the world of IT services.
This is not a desk-and-data role, we want someone who thrives on conversations, loves crafting compelling narratives, and is hungry to build a career in B2B technology sales.
You will work hand-in-hand with senior sales leaders, get real exposure to the full sales and marketing cycle, and develop the skills that top IT sales professionals use to win clients and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Drive outbound prospecting through strategic cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and lead qualification to build a healthy sales pipeline.
Identify, research, and engage potential clients across IT consulting and staffing markets, understanding their pain points and positioning ByteNex solutions effectively.
Support the creation of high-impact sales collateral including pitch decks, capability presentations, and tailored proposals that win attention and move deals forward.
Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking prospect interactions, pipeline stages, and follow-up activities to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.Collaborate with senior leaders to coordinate client meetings, demos, and follow-ups and actively participate in sales conversations to sharpen your skills.
Develop a strong working knowledge of ByteNex's service portfolio across staffing, consulting, and technology platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and AI-driven solutions.
Track campaign and outreach performance, analyse outcomes, and share insights that inform smarter go-to-market decisions.Stay sharp on technology trends, competitive landscape, and client industry dynamics to have credible, value-driven conversations with prospects.
What We're Looking For
A natural communicator and storyteller who can hold attention whether on a cold call, a LinkedIn message, or a client pitch deck.
Bachelor's degree (completed) in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.A genuine passion for sales and marketing, someone who sees rejection as a stepping stone, not a stop sign.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
Comfortable with LinkedIn, email outreach tools, CRM platforms, and standard productivity software.
Highly organised with sharp attention to detail, you follow up, follow through, and never drop the ball.
Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the drive to hit metrics and improve every week.
Prior exposure to sales, marketing, business development, or campus leadership is a strong plus but not mandatory. We value attitude and aptitude above all.
Stipend & Full-Time Opportunity
Stipend:
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on skills and performance)
This internship comes with a real path forward.
High-performing interns who demonstrate strong sales aptitude, consistent results, and cultural fit will be considered for a full-time role at ByteNex upon successful completion of the internship.
We believe in nurturing talent from within, if you prove yourself, we want to keep you.Stipend in the range of ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month.
Interns who meet performance benchmarks will be evaluated for a full-time Sales & Marketing position.
Full-time conversion comes with a competitive salary package, defined growth trajectory, and expanded responsibilities.
