ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant with strong exposure to taxation, audit, accounting, and compliance functions within a Chartered Accountancy firm.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing client assignments, leading teams, and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CA Firm Experience
Utilize prior CA firm experience to manage taxation, audit, and accounting assignments independently.
Handle multiple clients across industries efficiently.
Tax Audit & Income Tax Compliance
Preparation and filing of Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CD).
Computation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR 1–7).
Advance tax computation and TDS compliance.
Handling scrutiny assessments and departmental notices.
GST Compliance
Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR9/9C).
Reconciliation of GSTR2A/2B with books of accounts.
Managing GST notices, audits, and departmental queries.
Accounting & Finalization
Preparation and finalization of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliations, and compliance verification.
Maintenance of accurate financial records.
ROC & Statutory Compliance
Filing of ROC forms (AOC4, MGT7, DIR3 KYC, etc.).
Ensuring adherence to Companies Act requirements.
MIS & Financial Analysis
Preparation of MIS reports for management review.
Conducting financial analysis and performance review for clients.
Providing actionable insights for business improvement.
Leadership & Team Management
Supervising and mentoring junior staff and article assistants.
Allocating assignments and ensuring timely completion.
Regular followup on deliverables and deadlines.
Client Advisory
Providing professional advice on taxation, accounting, and compliance matters.
Responding to client queries with clarity and accuracy.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Working knowledge of Tally, Busy, or similar accounting software.
Familiarity with Income Tax and GST portals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a CA firm/practice.
Proven exposure to taxation, audit, accounting, and compliance functions.
