- Strong experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure DevOps [optional].
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes, with exposure to designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions using Azure.
- Experience in utilizing Power BI for advanced data visualization and analysis, creating reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Good knowledge of DAX and should easily pull off calculations.
- Experience in integrating Power BI with other Microsoft tools, such as Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies and a strong background in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.
- Ability to maintain and improve the existing Azure and Power BI setup, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.
- Experience with SSMS and SSRS
- Familiarity with retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python and data science concepts is good to have.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse SQL Pool and Microsoft Fabric
- Knowledge of Power Automate and PowerApps would be good to have.
- Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and explain technical results clearly and concisely.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to implement user feedback to enhance the user experience and functionality of BI solutions.
