Position: Accounts Manager

Experience:(5+ years) in a managerial accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Salary: 40000 to 50000 depends on your interview performance & experience

Gender: Female/male

Office time: 09:00 TO 06:00 (6 days week Sunday off)

Location: Rajkot Metoda

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Finance Director

Job Summary:

As an Accounts Manager in our manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of our operations. From day-to-day accounting tasks to the finalization of financial statements, your responsibilities will encompass various facets of financial management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Management:

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

2 Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Analyse financial data and provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making.

Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.

3.Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.

Monitor and analyse budget variances, providing explanations and recommendations to management.

4.Tax Compliance:

Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

5.Internal Controls:

Implement and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.

Conduct periodic internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls.

6.Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.

Provide training and guidance to ensure the team's continued professional development.

7.Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.

Optimize working capital through effective receivables and payables management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.

proficiency in SAP or similar platforms is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
