Job summary
Supervise day-to-day functioning of engineering services including utilities such as boilers compressors electrical and mechanical systems Plan and execute preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance schedules Monitor and optimize energy and utility consumption for cost efficiency Lead guide and monitor technicians operators and support staff in the engineering department Coordinate with production quality and other departments for smooth plant operations Liaise with vendors contractors equipment servicing AMC repairs Ensure compliance statutory norms Factory Act Boiler Act Electrical Safety Conduct safety audits adherence to safety protocols maintenance activities Implement Lean Maintenance Kaizen TPM practices improving equipment reliability Identify areas automation efficiency improvement cost reduction Maintain engineering logs maintenance records spare parts inventory Prepare monthly engineering performance downtime analysis reports Evaluate maintenance staff workers workforce efficiency Implement S practices engineering department Prepare manage MIS reports engineering services
