What will you do as a Software Engineer at Figr?

• You'll be core to everything we do.
• You'll build new products and features from start to finish, including conception, research, maintenance, and polish.
• You'll be working closely with the co-founders on product architecture, roadmap, and key priorities.
• You'll collaborate with cross-functional team to solve problems on different fronts.
• For instance, engage with design and product teams to convert user requirements into functional software and later retrospect on feedback to see what is working and what is now working.
• You'll improve the existing systems by identifying potential problems and solving them with robust and scalable solutions while keeping costs as low as possible.

This might be you if...

• You're capable of building Full Stack applications on your own and have worked on a product.
• You've some professional working experience. Ideally, 1+ years. However, if you think you're exceptionally good, we're open to hearing your case
• You have excellent command over a frontend (React) and a backend (Express, Node JS, etc) technology.
• You're familiar with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and have some idea about how they work internally.
• You've good communication skills.
• You document and test your code because you know its importance. You care about code quality and developer experience. You love owning things end-to-end and are detail-oriented.
• Bonus: You've spent time in a fast-paced startup.
• Bonus: You've contributed to Open Source.
