    As part of the Payments team, the candidate will get exposure to multiple categories at PhonePe and will need to develop cross-functional understanding to drive growth in customers and revenue for PhonePe.


    The role is fit for someone with strong business intuition, first principles thinking stakeholder management skills and the ability to understand complex systems.


    Job overview:

    • Ability to size the market opportunity for your business / product line
    • Resourcefulness in putting together market views based on primary research
    • Identify product and business growth levers to plan a roadmap for the category, and drive execution of key initiatives planned
    • Defining the growth ambitions and PnL of the category / business vertical based on levers available to drive growth
    • Liaison with Business Finance, Product and Analytics functions to define and track KPIs for growth of the business
    • Execute key marketing campaigns and initiatives
    • Design and create a reporting mechanisms for leadership reviews
    • Ability to define and execute on all the above plus operating plans independently

    Preferred background and qualifications:

    • 610 years of experience in managing endtoend categories, preferably at growing startups
    • Ownership of category growth or experience in credit product / portfolio growth will be a plus
    • Understanding of or exposure to payments domain is a good to have
