CAD/CAM SOFTWARE APPLICATION ENGINEER

Location: Pune

Experience: 1-3 years

Salary: As per industry standards

The Applications Engineer position offers many opportunities for travelling and spending time on-site with customers.

Technical Support:

The person will be working in a team environment providing Technical support to the Lantek customers in India via phone support, training, installation and technical sales support. Provide post-sales support to the clients.

Installation: Onsite installation of LANTEK Software various CAM softwares.

Training:

Offering the onsite end-user software to the customers.

Demonstrations:

Deliver formal demonstration the benefits of using LANTEK CAM software and Provide presales support in benchmarking the competitive edge.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Mechanical engineering with manufacturing experience, with a focus in CAD/CAM sheet metal fabrication or steel plate processing and CNC programming.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, complemented by a relentlessly enthusiastic and positive attitude and a strong desire to leverage problem solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows required (SQL database experience is a plus)

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Familiarity with CNC PLASMA & LASER Cutting Machines, Turret Punch Machines & CNC G-codes

Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Be a confident self-starter with a professional manner, able to work without supervision.

Be willing to travel in India and internationally when required.
