    SUMMARY

    The Technical Lead for Web2Print & LLCMS at RealPage is a role for an adept Ruby on Rails visionary who is as passionate about managing and growing a team as they are about crafting impeccable code. This position calls for a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in web development, team leadership, and a drive to push technological boundaries.

    In this influential role, you will oversee the technical direction for our Web2Print & LLCMS platforms. Your responsibilities include steering the software development lifecycle, promoting best practices, and driving technical excellence. You will lead a team of talented developers, encouraging innovation and ensuring that our software solutions lead the market in functionality and performance.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architectural leadership and hands-on development of Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, setting high standards for code quality and collaboration.
  • Engage in proactive discussions with cross-functional teams, transforming product requirements into technical execution.
  • Advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to craft efficient and maintainable code.
  • Direct the advancement of new features, diligently addressing bugs and optimizing application performance.

    • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Over 10 years of web development experience, with significant expertise in Ruby on Rails.
  • Proven track record in team management and the ability to nurture talent.
  • Proficiency in React or
  • Experience with Angular.
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with Sidekiq
  • Strong grasp of SQL databases and object-oriented programming.
  • Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.
