- Leads the administration, maintenance and configuration of Finance systems for the company.
- Carries out system administration activities – system maintenance, system testing, data checks, fault finding and troubleshooting, resolution, and managing user access.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to capture and document requirements for Workday enhancements and fixes.
- Leads design, configuration and deployment of Workday Finance and Retain Resource Management.
- Identify, validate and test business process and configuration changes related to business changes, issues or process improvements
- Builds and delivers integrations between Workday and other systems (both internal and external) including vendors, for example Banking, CRM, Invoicing, etc.
- Design and develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation to support change management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
- Ensure Workday Financials complies with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and controls.
- Performs audits of Workday data and recommend steps to improve data quality.
- Ensures open communication and alignment across all Financial and HCM functional areas.
- Uses Workday Community to keep Workday knowledge/skills current
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance and Professional Services Automation system management
- 5+ years of experience in the implementation, development, and support of Financial ERP systems.
- 2+ years of experience as a Workday system administrator responsible for configuration, testing, and support of Workday.
- Workday certification(s) in Workday Finance preferred.
- Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting
- Experience with Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, and Report Writer.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down complex topics for target audiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with Finance and IT clients
- Participation in at least one full life cycle Workday FIN implementation preferred.
- Effective in leading/facilitating with senior business leaders on topics inside and outside the organization
- Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills in areas of high complexity
- Exhibits knowledge in current and possible future trends, technology and information affecting the department/business area
- Ability to work independently, managing work from concept through completion
- Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
- Ability to motivate and set the direction for a team
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects

Description
The Workday Financials Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday Financials system.
Working closely with RGP's Finance team members, IT team, and business users, you will drive requirements discovery, solution design, system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
This role serves as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for assigned functional areas within Workday such as Core Financials, Procurement, Assets, Banking & Settlements, and Expenses. Revenue Management, Projects, and Project Billing are a plus.
