Job Title: Backend Developer (Gaming Background)

Overview:

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the gaming industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining backend systems for gaming applications. You will be crucial in designing, implementing, and optimizing server-side logic to support our gaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Backend Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems for gaming applications.
• Implement server-side logic to handle gameplay mechanics, player interactions, and data processing.
• Optimize backend performance to ensure smooth gameplay experiences and minimal latency.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services for features such as analytics, authentication, and multiplayer functionality.
• Database Management:
• Design and optimize database schemas to store and retrieve game data efficiently.
• Implement database queries and optimizations to support game features and analytics.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies as needed.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement security measures to protect game data, user accounts, and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for data privacy and security.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including game designers, front-end developers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.
• Document backend systems, APIs, and processes for internal reference and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development, focusing on gaming applications.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as , Java, or Python.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of game development frameworks and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
