    Description

    Overview:

    The SAP BWABAP plays a crucial role in our organization by developing andmaintaining SAP BW data models and ABAP programs to extracttransform and load data from source systems into the SAP BW system.This position is essential for ensuring the efficient functioningof our SAP data warehouse and supporting various businessrequirements.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Collaborate withbusiness analysts and end users to gather and document businessrequirements for data modeling and reportingneeds
    • Design develop and maintain SAP BW datamodels using InfoObjects InfoCubes DSOs andMultiproviders
    • Create ABAP programs to extracttransform and load data into SAP BW from sourcesystems
    • Optimize and finetune data models andABAP programs for performance andefficiency
    • Participate in system testingdebugging and performance tuning of BW objects and ABAPprograms
    • Conduct code reviews and ensureadherence to best practices andstandards
    • Provide production support andresolve issues related to data extraction data modeling andreporting
    • Collaborate with SAP basis andfunctional teams for system integration andmaintenance
    • Document technical specificationsuser guides and operational procedures
    • Stayupdated with SAP BW and ABAP advancements and suggest improvementsfor optimizing systemperformance

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
    • Minimum of 4 years of handson experiencein SAP BW data modeling anddevelopment
    • Proficiency in SAP ABAP programmingand performance optimization
    • Experience withSAP HANA and its integration with SAP BW
    • Strongunderstanding of ETL processes andtools
    • Excellent understanding of SAP BWarchitecture and best practices
    • Ability to workcollaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectivelywith stakeholders
    • Strong problemsolving skillsand ability to troubleshoot technicalissues
    • Relevant SAP certifications will be aplus
    • Knowledge of SAP functional modules andprocesses will be anadvantage
