• Analyse and implement testing and quality assurance (QA) methodologies, standards and processes.
• Create and execute test scripts, preparation of test strategies, set up and maintain test data and environments, and log results.
• Drive QA strategy at the application level and drive engineers to deliver high-quality code.
• Execute against the test strategy defined at the portfolio level and maintain regression suite.
• Monitor the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design and development of software and IT processes.
• Work with engineers to drive improvements in code quality with manual and automated testing.
• Drive automation using Selenium, Cucumber, PyTest, with good understanding of API and Big data.
• Demonstrate superior problem-solving and collaboration skills and work closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs.

This will be an AD level role based in Pune, India with our growing development presence in the UBS India office.

As a team, we provide Trade Surveillance for Fixed Ie, Credit and Rates products using Azure cloud and other niche data warehousing technologies along with a SaaS Product - Trading Hub (TH) as a backbone.

We work very closely with business, vendor (TH), as well as other engineering teams.
Your expertiseYour expertise

• Bachelor's degree inputer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressively responsible IT quality assurance experience in the financial services industry with good Data / Business Analyst background.
• Experience on QA automation with technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, PyTest or Python.
• Certifications an advantage as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate or Six Sigma.
• Demonstrate strongmunication skills, both to senior management and teams
• Good knowledge of Fixed Ie Markets and products, along with Financial markets in general.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
• Ability to engage and establish relationships with business users, peers and managers across departments, geographies and time zones.
• Strong IT skills including Cloud, Informatica, Oracle, Python and Microsoft Office.
• Strong Team Player with inclination towards knowledge sharing.
