    Our client is seeking to fill the position of the Head of Human Resources for their newly set up Agronomy business.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Oversee all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
    • Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
    • Develop and maintain employee policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale and retention.
    • Partner with senior management to provide HR guidance and support on organizational development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
    • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
    • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Lead and mentor the HR team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • MBA in HR from a reputed university.
    • 15 to 20 years of progressive HR experience in a process industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive business results.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
