    Description

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are looking for a Corporate Legal expert with years of experience in contract management (drafting,

    reviewing, and vetting), compliance management and corporate policies and procedures.

    Job Description:

  • Independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for various business lines including SAAS (sales), vendor, lending, technology, bank, payment networks and partnerships
  • Drafting of various compliance codes, policies and procedures and facilitate escalation and appropriate resolution of compliance issues
  • Advise/train employees on relevant compliance codes, policies and procedures
  • Understanding and advising stakeholders on day-to-day legal and compliance matters, recommendations, and report on legal risks
  • Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting various provisions of the labor laws and advising management towards its compliance in a timely manner
  • To evaluate compliance risk through analysis, risk identification, monitoring and consulting on various projects and initiatives at a management level
  • Liaising with and managing external counsel
  • Participate in and support ad hoc legal and compliance projects, as required from time to time
  • Advising management on various payment, technology privacy related laws including the Payment Settlement Act, RBI regulation on lending business, Information Technology Act and Privacy Laws on need basis.

    • Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/Law Graduate from reputed institute, experience of 4-5 years in the field of legal and compliance
  • Must be proficient working in an automated environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The role requires a self-starter willing to operate with minimal supervision with strong inter-personal skills with the ability to identify issues and develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Should possess effective verbal & written communications skills, including ability to resolve conflict and report / handle escalated issues and senior management
