Responsibilities
● Sketching out and implementing automated software test procedures.
● Reviewing software bug reports , highlighting problem areas and automating bug
reports
● Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
● Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide
timely and meaningful feedback
● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
● Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
● Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
● Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system
requirements
● Monitor debugging process results
● Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
● Develop reusable utilities and test scripts, which can be shared across the platform
Requirements
● Hands-on experience with web automation using Selenium/webdriver/puppeteer,
Javascript technologies
● Experience in unit testing tools such as Jasmine, Jest, Mocha/Chai or equivalent
framework
● Experience writing visual regression testing scripts using tools such as
Detox or Appium
● Advanced beginner to intermediate experience in latest technologies like ,
and React-native
● Excellent programming skills in Java, Javascript or related languages, written custom
test automation scripts, automation tools and frameworks
